I just painted my nails with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri. I've decided to test my theory that it's just the top coats that make the difference in these so-called "gel-like" polishes. Going without using the actual nail polish that you're "supposed" to use. We will see in a week. Here is the Revlon top coat on my left hand. And the Sally Hansen on the right hand. Now we'll see if it's stands up just as well as the proper polish. See you in a week! July 17: Here they are! Not to shabby, I'd say. My conclusion: it's definitely the top coat in both of these situations. You don't have to use the nail polish that goes with it for it to work well. They both stood up much better than my regular top coats. I like how thick the Sally Hansen top coat is and how fast it dries. But I think favourite is the Revlon. Put it with any polish you choose!

July 3: I've decided to try the Revlon nailpolish this time around. At about $8.99 a bottle, it's a bit cheaper than the Sally Hansen polish. Decides to try a white color. There's not as big of a selection as the Sally Hansen. The first coat went on decent enough. And dried fairly quickly. Im not very steady doing my nails. But here's the first coat. Second coat covered better than other polish brands I've tried in white. Top coat feels much like any other top coat I've had before. Doesn't seem like anything special. So, we'll see. I'll see ya in a week! July 11: Here is what my left hand looks like now. I'm thinking that it has to do with the top coat. I'm going to try it with a nail polish of a different brand and see how it stands up.
